Rumor: There would be new games of Twisted Metal and Wipeout in Development
We know that Sony is already working on a series of Twisted Metal and a new rumor suggests that, in addition to this project, the Japanese company is looking to relive the franchise with another game. Tom Henderson, reliable insider games like Battlefield and Call of Duty, shared a crystic image of Sweet Tooth accompanied by the text 2023.

Accompanying this rumor, Nick Balar, Host of the podcast Xbox Era, ensures that the Wipeout franchise is also for returning with a new delivery for PlayStation 5:
Do you know what? To the devil. I will take the risk of making someone angry. I do not want me to go ahead again. I have been told that Wipeout is about to return. A new delivery is planned for PlayStation 5 / PS VR 2. Probably it is an XDEV project. The project is still at a very early stage.
You know what? Screw It I'll risk pissing someone off. Do not wanna get scooped again. Been Told Wipeout is Coming Back. Planned to be a VR2 / PS5 Title. MOST LIKELY AN XDEV PROJECT. STILL EARLY IN THE PROJECT.

For more reliable they are these two insiders, it is best to take this information with reservation until you have some kind of official confirmation. However, the idea that any of these two franchises can return for the new generation does not sound like such an overwhelmed idea.
