Xbox Cloud Gaming: Hardware The Xbox Series X is now responsible for streaming

Some time ago, Microsoft announced that you would soon want to offer Xbox Cloud Gaming with the hardware performance of Xbox Series X for its customers. Now the responsible persons have confirmed the conclusion of this upgrades. In the future, players therefore benefit from faster charging times and higher frame rates when they start a title via the streaming service. The full potential of the hardware has not yet released Microsoft.

Furthermore, the games with Xbox Cloud Gaming are transferred to the screens with a maximum of 1080p and 60fps. Currently, the service is available via the Xbox app on the PC as well as on iOS and Android. At the end of the year, Xbox Cloud Gaming should also be possible on Xbox Series X (Buy Now 499.90 €) / S and Xbox One. Microsoft is currently also working on an app for Smart TVs, which should offer a transfer of games directly on the TV. Most recently, new streaming devices have also been indicated that you can easily connect to a monitor or TV with HDMI.

Only a few days ago, access to Xbox Cloud Gaming has been extended by further areas. Meanwhile, the service can be used in 26 countries - Germany is already there. At the moment, the service can be used as a subscriber of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The new additions for the first October half were presented this week - including highlights like back 4 Blood or Destiny 2: Beyond Light. Almost all new additions can now also be played with Xbox Cloud Gaming. Microsoft should also plan new subscription models for the Game Pass, which could then only offer access to the streaming service.
